Nu på torsdag har jag äran att få presentera Ulrika Sandströms vår/sommar-kollektion 2010, "Post Piracy", på Café Operas uteservering. Så om ni vill vara först med att se hur ni ska se ut nästa sommar så är det bara att infinna er på Café Opera nu på torsdag den 13:e augusti, kl. 22.00.

”POST PIRACY”
Spring/summer 2010

“Sailing on the seven seas

The spring/summer collection for 2010 is inspired by pirates, punk, new romantics and the clash between the rough and the delicate.

The name “Post Piracy” pays homage to Vivienne Westwood’s Pirate collection in 1981.

The collection offers a feast of romantic ruffles, lacing and embroidery. The tailored garments, printed jersey and the raw finishing of some of the styles stands in bright contrast to the orgy of feminine attributes, and completes the 80s’ look with inspiration from band Adam and The Ants and heroines like Madonna and Debbie Harry.

Materials used are twill, cotton voile, embroidery, viscose, linen and jersey. The colour scale is bleak, ranging from bright white, cream and vanilla to pale blue with accents of black.
